COLARES EFFECT (Sculpture)
- Place: Rua Dr. Alfredo da Costa
Colares is a wine region that has a rare and exceptional process of vineyard production. Planted in dunes, buried in a layer of clay 2 to 4 meters deep, these vines grow favoured by the effects of an atmospheric phenomenon: the Foehn Effect.
Evoking Saint Martin and the anthropologist Marcel Mauss, we can say that wine is a product that unifies and create identities, capable of bringing together individuals inside and outside the same community. Wine generates behaviours, ethics and non-verbal symbols - irreducible parts in the acceptance of their spirit by the wine lovers and always beyond all words.
